FuturBit Conference
Event design package
I designed for a company event for Futurbit. The company specializes in tech, and is hosting a conference for tech and innovation. I was tasked to make the signage and simple merchandise designs in the style of Alvin Lustig, a famous cover designer.
Thumbnail Sketches
Lustig's style is composed of mostly geometric shapes, so I played around with parallelograms that look like arrows, which promotes moving forward like the tech that is being displayed.
Final Design and Mockups
Out of all of my thumbnails, #7 was the strongest design, and I pushed forward to use it for my final design. The poster frames the company's name in the center and the Ludwig designs are used to help emphasize this frame. The required information about the conference helps frame the name while also being easy to read and find on the poster. Its a very daring design that ended up working really well in the end.

In addition to the event's poster design, I designed merchandise as well to go with it, basing it off the current Alvin Lustig design I have been using.
