Book Cover Design and Promotional
Written by Filipino national hero, Dr. Jose Rizal, "Noli Mi Tangere" inspired a revolution in post-colonial Philippines. To reconnect with the youth today, I designed a new cover for the literary work that reflects the time period of the work while maintaining a modern design. I also animated a promotional video for the book.

I sketched possible designs of the new cover, taking inspiration of one of the book's main female leads, and a design movement that was happening at the same time as the book's writing: Scottish Art Nouveau.
Design Process
After determining which design is the strongest, I began my final design process. I initially finished with the design on the left, but after critique and review, I adjusted to the final design on the right, which has a stronger look in the end.
